OPTIMIST NORTH ISLANDS: OCTOBER SAILING WEEK

The Napier Sailing Club is looking forward to seeing you all at the Optimist North Island Open Championship over Labour Weekend from October 22-24. The North Islands will be at the end of an exciting week of racing through the school holidays, starting with the Winter Championships at Murrays Bay October 14-16. For those that are interested there will be a training clinic in Napier run by Force Racing on October 18 and 19. For the first time we will be running the NZIODA Optimist North Island Teams Racing Regatta on October 21, a very busy week of sailing! Get a club team together, it will be great practice for the Volvo teams racing event in March of next year. International teams are also invited to participate in the team racing regatta. Two courses will be run at the North Island teams event, on an optiworlds‘ format and we expect to see some international sailors participating as well.
